  Our ALM House provides transitional housing, spiritual counsel, and other support for men getting free from incarceration and/or substance addiction. Inspiration for the ALM House was drawn from Matthew 25:40 and Jesus’ promise “in that you did it to the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.”

  When There’s Nowhere to Look But Up
  - Act Like Men | Retreats and Conferences
    
    While Pastor James now seldom travels to fill weekend church pulpits, he does preach at local church men’s retreats and men’s conferences (most recently in Wisconsin, Texas, and California) and is building into men by building into pastors, as well as developing Act Like Men’s conferences in 2023.
    - - Seasonal Bible Studies
    - In summer 2023, a new season of in-person Bible study with Pastor James will begin, at our Elgin ministry home. All adults are welcome.
