Family First-Aid

It’s no fun to go to the doctor. Few of us like doing it, but we know it’s the healthy thing to do. Certainly we don’t want to find out too late about a problem that could have been fixed. We understand all this, physically speaking. We also get this spiritually. We don’t want false hope or shallow pep talks about our relationship with God. If we have a problem, we need to hear the truth. It’s not always easy to hear about our problems, but we’re always glad to get our hearts back to a healthy place with God.
What is true physically and spiritually is also true relationally. In this 6-part series on the family, James MacDonald sends us to the doctor’s office to get healthy. All of us can benefit from a few tests, a little self examination right out of God’s Word, and maybe some reviews of some family patterns.
