The law can define righteousness. The law can demand righteousness. But the law cannot deliver change because the law isn’t the problem – we are. Sometimes we want to change, but we don’t how to change – other times we know the way but lack the want. The actual power to change we find in can Romans 8 is both the desire and the strength.
