How should those truths affect your life?
Seeing God’s awesomeness, the prophet Isaiah shrieked: “Woe is me, for I am ruined! Because I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips…” (Isaiah 6:5).
Bottom line? In Christ, we’re not better than anyone. We are simply and astonishingly forgiven.
Let’s get into this good news!
Experiencing the Holiness of God | Isaiah 6
In Isaiah 6, God’s prophet Isaiah sees an astonishing vision of heaven and God’s magnificence. When Isaiah encounters the Lord, he cannot help but see his own sin and weakness – his faults fully exposed. It is no different for us today.
In God’s presence, there is no room for comparison or way to hide… but even where sin is great, grace is greater still!
Pastor James has a special message leading into and out of this weekend teaching – join us as we encounter God in His Word and turn to Him in repentance and faith.
DESCRIPTION
God On The Throne, A Picture of Holiness a sermon from Isaiah 6.
Isaiah 6:1-4
God is a God of immense holiness and infinite transcendence. He is not like us, and we don’t have a parallel with which to describe him fully. In this message, Pastor James MacDonald walks us through the four throne room scenes of Scripture found in Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Revelation and our response to His Holiness.
