[07] How To Know If You Are Filled With The Holy Spirit
Romans 8:12-17
The Holy Spirit does not want any blood bought son or daughter of the living God, through faith in Jesus, to be wondering whether they’re in the family or not. And just as sure as you can know if you are in the family, you can know if you are filled with the Holy Spirit. Romans 8 gives us indicators and experiences that every Holy Spirit filled Christian can identify or evaluate in their own life.

Am I saved? That’s a question so many people wrestle with. And the way you live and think can be an indicator of whether or not the Holy Spirit dwells within you. Living in the Spirit has certain rewards. But living in the flesh has inevitable consequences. In Romans 8 we are challenged to “Get busy living or get busy dying.”

The law can define righteousness. The law can demand righteousness. But the law cannot deliver change because the law isn’t the problem – we are.
