If you have never ‘met’ Jesus Christ, this is a perfect introduction.
If you have followed Him for years, this will draw you even closer. A proper sense of who God is, what He has done, and what He will do for you is the only way to see yourself and your circumstances clearly – and it will transform everything about you.
When you know the Lord as your Identity, your Deliverer, your Savior and your Victory, you can take who you are and where you are and fold them under His protection. As God miraculously teaches the Israelites, so He will teach you–you are intimately known and loved by the Great I AM, who is in control of everything. And that changes everything.
Exodus 14
God always wins. In any tug-of-war with God, that’s the thing to remember. He always wins. Always. But, don’t take things getting harder as a sign that God is not working. In fact, the closer you’re getting to victory, the harder things can seem because God is going to win in a way that provokes you to worship.
Exodus 12
The passover lamb. Other than the cross itself, this Exodus passage presents the most powerful picture of salvation in God’s Word. Christ is my passover and He is able to save to the uttermost. Failure to embrace Jesus Christ as Savior is the decision to meet him as your judge.
Exodus 5-11
The number one question on our minds when it comes to God’s deliverance is, “when?” Often we wonder, why the delay? Is God ever going to come through? God delays deliverance for some very good reasons. He wants to drive the doubting out of our lives so we will do exactly what the Word of the Lord says.
Exodus 4
Insecurity is debilitating. You don’t know who you are until you know who God is. God has made you perfectly for that which he wants you to do. In Exodus 4, Pastor James shows us a biblical strategy for overcoming personal insecurity.
