But God Commends His Love | Romans 5 | Great Buts of The Bible
Peace is the calm assurance that what God is doing is best.
Is your heart heavy with condemnation, shame, a list of all your wrongs? Remember, in Christ you are freed from that guilt to live in peace – peace with God, peace from God, and in the peace of God.
The world is full of evil, but God demonstrates His love toward you through the cross. This week, dive with us into the very center of the center of Christianity: the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Great Buts of The Bible (Part 1) – But God Meant It For Good
Genesis 50:20
The phrase “great but!” (not great “butt”) is about the most powerful conjunction in the English language – a truth hinge that opens the door to so much.
For many years as I preached, I would pause to quip, “Sometime I have to do a series on ‘Great Buts in the Bible.’” The reality is this: No matter how bad it looks for you or those you love right now, when God steps in everything changes.
Join us for this first week in our new series, “Great ‘Buts’ in the Bible”!
Humble Yourself | John 13
A trial is a difficult circumstance allowed by God to transform your conduct and your character. Don’t despair when you encounter trials – often God allows them so He can lead you through.
Running for their lives from the Egyptian army and facing the Red Sea, the Israelites were desperate – but God made a way! Are you facing a trial you cannot fix yourself? As He was for the Israelites, our faithful God will be your victory too…
Open your Bible to Exodus 14, for the final message in our series, I AM: Finding Your Identity in God.
I Am Your Victory | I AM Finding Your Identity in God | Exodus 14
I Am Your Savior
Exodus 5-11
The number one question on our minds when it comes to God’s deliverance is, “when?” Often we wonder, why the delay? Is God ever going to come through? God delays deliverance for some very good reasons. He wants to drive the doubting out of our lives so we will do exactly what the Word of the Lord says.
God Himself is your deliverer! Right now, the Lord is at work – He has a plan, and He is changing hearts. When it feels like God is delaying, remember this: He’s making you spiritually fit for what He is already planning to do. You need only to wait in faith… everything God has promised is coming! In the end there will be a greater victory. Open your Bible to Exodus 5, and learn to rest in God’s promise of deliverance.

A Primer on Trusting God, Part 1
Psalm 25:1-10
To live a life of trust is to live a life of true humility.
“To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul…” Psalm 25:1
Some 2,500 years ago, David penned this desperate cry to God – a model for us today what it looks like to walk in humility, faith and trust. God’s Word is timeless, and its truths are life giving. Bring your burdens and let’s learn these lessons afresh together.
